Delicate & Wild

These murals were created for the nurseries of twin babies, a girl and a boy. The parents wanted them designed based on the main characteristics of each child that they had observed since their recent birth. Their daughter is delicate like a bird and their son is wild like a safari desert animal...

The murals include 3D elements as well. The birds and aspen leaves in the girl’s mural and the monkey bread fruit in the Baobab tree of the boy’s mural are made of patterned cloth on laser cut wood. These are attached to the wall with construction adhesive.
