Macrocosmic Naturescapes
This printed mural was commissioned by the University of Florida Health and is located at the entrance of an old mall that was redeveloped as a health clinic. The images are macro views of creatures native to the Gainesville area. It explores and celebrates the rich array of colors, patterns, and textures that can be discovered when taking a new perspective of the Gainesville wilderness. The intention is to draw people in by the beauty and mystery of the imagery and have them try to guess what they are seeing; to then be inspired to go out into the surrounding nature, observe in a new way, and develop a profound relationship with the land and all of its creatures.
